Silver Springs was formed with the goal of providing tailored funding for financial institutions. The process starts by listening to our financial institutions needs, then forming a solution. Through this approach, Silver Springs has been able to provide millions in deposit funding each month utilizing stable and diversified funding sources for all types of financial institutions.
Financial institutions are required to identify and manage liquidity from a primary and contingency standpoint. It is critical to be able to measure and monitor liquidity risk associated with each funding source. Silver Springs identifies and documents each funding sources characteristics and capabilities to ensure success when interacting as part of a financial institutions plan.
Larry Kavulich
Silver Springs Director, Larry Kavulich has spent nearly 25 years in the banking industry, both as a banker and as a consultant. Mr. Kavulich has experience in a variety of banking positions, including Treasury Management, Operations, Sales & Marketing among others. His career began at National City, and has included management positions at Old Kent Bank, Banco Popular, Midwest Bank and Trust and The Reserve.
Over the years, Mr. Kavulich has created an extensive network of trusted banker clients as well as other vendors. With a strong understanding of bank funding needs, Mr. Kavulich began consulting bank clients directly on funding solutions and services.
Mr. Kavulich holds a BS in Finance from Central Michigan University, where he also received training at Perry School of Banking.
John Ryan
John attended Central Methodist University, (Fayette, MO) and was a senior captain on the football team. After receiving his degree, John went on to coach at Dodge City Community College (Dodge City, KS). In his time there, he led the team to an appearance in the Valley of Sun Bowl.
After coaching John moved to Denver, CO where he started a Commercial IT consulting company. Ryan IT Solutions specialized in networking and IoT solutions.
In August 2017, John joined Silver Springs as a Funding Advisor where he helps financial institutions coordinate deposit funding needs with institutional investors.
